About the Position


Responsible for the development and implementation of the HR strategy in terms of attracting and retaining talent, managing and driving change/transformation in the business, embedding the culture in the business and managing projects specific to the achievement of the HR strategy.

  • Manage and execute talent acquisition and management strategy and processes effectively
  • Coordinate and implement HR, Culture and Organisation Development projects in line with strategic priorities of the business
  • Driving and maintaining a high performance culture
  • Provide advisory and consultancy to the CEO, Managers and employees
  • Coordination and consultation of remuneration reviews, bonuses, shares and other incentives and rewards
  • Oversee and manage the training and development initiatives
  • Review and enhancement of the Performance and Development Review process
  • Represent Human Resources at Executive Meetings
  • Compile Board reports


  • B. Com or other HR related degree
  • Basic understanding of the Private Client business and the stock-broking environment preferable
  • Experience within a financial services industry would be advantageous


  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resources in a similar size organization
  • Recruiting and interviewing staff at all levels
  • Experience in culture and change initiatives
  • Experience in people management of highly talented, driven and successful people
  • Track record of excellent project management delivery
  • Strong business writing/verbal skills
  • Presentation skills (preparation and presentation)
  • Strong implementation skills
